Yesterday, I spoke with Ms. Sylar’s 5th grade class from Belmont, North Carolina about my research and scientific journey as part of the Skype a Scientist program! As a treat for Halloween, I dressed up in my full lab gear, including a lab coat, surgical mask, safety glasses, and my hamster surgical cap. I had a great time talking with these students, and I look forward to continuing to share my love of science with students across the world through this wonderful program!
